Hi, I'm Daryn!

I truly believe everyone deserves to feel understood and to know that they matter. Life can be messy, and asking for support can feel uncomfortable or even scary. When you walk through our doors, I want you to know there is nothing you need to prove, explain perfectly, or have figured out. You can simply come as you are.

As an Administrative Assistant at Stick & Stone Counselling, I hope to be someone you feel comfortable coming to, whether you have a question, aren't quite sure where to start, or just need a friendly face. To me, caring for people is often found in the little things: taking the time to listen, remembering your name, sharing a laugh, or helping make an unfamiliar place feel more comfortable.

More than anything, I want every person I meet to feel welcomed without judgement and cared for as a person, not just as an appointment on the schedule. Whatever brought you through our doors, being here is enough, and there is a place for you with us.
