Carrie Gauthier B.Sc, B.Ed, M.Ed, MACP (Intern)
Individual & Family Therapist
My heart has always been in helping people. As a mother, former teacher, entrepreneur, and now counselling intern, my path has always been rooted in connection, growth, compassion, and supporting others through life's challenges. Each chapter of my journey has strengthened my passion for helping people feel seen, heard, and understood in a safe and supportive space.
Through my own lived experiences, I understand that life can feel complicated, painful, and overwhelming at times - and I also know how meaningful it can be to have someone walk alongside you without judgment. My experiences allow me to connect with clients in a genuine and compassionate way, bringing empathy, authenticity, and understanding into the counselling relationship.
As a counselling intern, I am deeply committed to continuing to grow, learn, and succeed alongside my clients. I believe healing begins when we feel truly supported, and that even in difficult seasons, there is always a light ahead - even when it may be hard to see. My goal is to walk alongside my clients with care and compassion as we work together toward healing, resilience, hope, and finding a path to the other side together.
