Marie Vickirama BSc, MC, CCC
Clinical Director
Individual & Family Therapist
I believe that no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone. As Clinical Director at Stick & Stone Counselling Services, I am deeply committed to creating a space where individuals feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Rooted in values of connection, belonging, and authenticity, I strive to ensure that every person who walks through our doors feels seen, heard, and respected just as they are.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental environment where meaningful conversations can unfold at your pace. I understand that opening up can feel vulnerable, and I meet each person with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for their unique story. I believe that healing happens in relationship when we feel truly understood and no longer alone in what we’re carrying.
Beyond simply listening, I am passionate about empowering you. I will support you in finding the language, insight, and practical tools needed to navigate life’s complexities with greater clarity and confidence. Whether you are facing a difficult season, working through past experiences, or seeking personal growth, I will walk alongside you, offering guidance, encouragement, and a steady presence along the way.
My heart extends beyond the therapy room and into the wider community. I am dedicated to fostering psychological safety, inclusivity, and meaningful connection both within Stick & Stone and throughout the community we serve. It is an honour to be part of your journey and to support individuals and families as they move toward healing, resilience, and a deeper sense of belonging.
