Welcome to Stick & Stone Counselling Services.

My name is Camille and I am on the Social Work students assisting the team at SSCS. I am entering the field of mental health with a deep desire to learn from and support others. Above all, I hope to offer reassurance that no one is ever truly alone. My role is not to lead the way, but to listen with intention, humility, and respect. Reaching out for help takes immense courage, and I am committed to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life's challenges.

I believe that resilience and healing are inherently relational-rooted in community, culture, and connection. Each person's strengths and lived experiences are unique and deserve to be honoured. As a social work student, I strive to create a space that acknowledges the intersecting aspects of identity, place, and experience that shape the barriers people face. Understanding the broader conditions that influence people's lives is essential to providing meaningful and effective care.

At the core of my work is a simple but powerful belief: people matter. I am proud to be part of a field where advocacy, compassion, and respect for human dignity are at the heart of what we do.
