My name is Janae and I am so happy that you are here, starting a counselling journey for you or your child can take a lot of courage! As a child therapist, I specialize in supporting children and adolescents through emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges. Using age-appropriate therapeutic techniques such as play therapy and person-centered talk therapy, CBT, and art therapy, I aim to help children express their feelings, develop coping skills, and navigate difficult life situations.

My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment to foster healing, exploration of thoughts and feelings and personal growth for your child while working closely with you, the caregiver, to best support your child's overall well-being. I have experience supporting children through many challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, family changes (like divorce or loss), behavioural problems, ADHD, peer difficulties and self-esteem issues. My priority is offering therapeutic support that is tailored to your child and family's unique strengths and needs. Please feel free to reach out to me for booking inquiries! I look forward to connecting and embarking on this journey together!
