Brooklyn Denton BSW, RSW
Social Worker
Individual & Family Therapist
My name is Brooklyn Denton, and I am a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina. My passion lies in working with youth and young adults, supporting them as they navigate challenges and build meaningful paths toward wellness and personal growth.
My practice takes a holistic approach to counselling-honoring the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected parts of healing. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, and my role is to meet clients where they are, empower them to tap into their strengths, and support them as they move toward where they'd like to be.
I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Polyvagal Theory, and Narrative Therapy, while integrating creativity, art, and connection into my sessions. My goal is to help individuals strengthen their ability to regulate emotions, build coping skills, and create self-care practices that foster resilience and prevent burnout.
Some of the areas I support clients with include:
- Building regulation and coping skills for emotional balance
- Developing boundaries, consent, and self-esteem
- Assisting those navigating ADHD, high-functioning ASD, anxiety, depression, and trauma
- Navigating life transitions, workplace stress, and family dynamics
I also believe in the importance of including families in the wellness process. When working with youth, I offer optional sessions for parents to explore strategies that can support their child's growth outside the counselling space-helping bridge any gaps in communication or regulation at home.
It's truly an honor to be part of each person's healing journey. My wish for every client is that they come to recognize the strength and wisdom they already carry within themselves.
