As society moves forward, new obstacles are found, hardships are endured, and it is during those times that we search for strength. I believe, there is strength in all of us. Whether or not we can gather it up at will or have a tough time finding it, we know it is there. While we search for our own strength, times may get dark and we become stuck in our own thoughts. What if I told you that your strength is not a treasure hidden away? Rather, a tool to use to overcome those tough times. Like a flashlight in the dark, a compass on the sea or a fire in the cold, exploring how to use the tool of our own strengths will help us learn how to better overcome obstacles.
With experience in child protection, addictions, anxiety, depression and trauma, I am passionate about working with children, youth and parents. I strive to provide a safe space where you feel heard, understood and respected. Let’s work together to find your personal strengths and to bring them to the forefront as we face the challenges ahead.
